Use the Right Moisturizer for Your Skin Type
For dry skin, use athicker moisturizer like a ointment. And if you are going to use a
moisturizer during the day, lock ‘em in at night with an ointment. For
normal skin, a lighter moisturizer like a cream is for you, and will
keep your skin hydrated. For oily skin, you want to use a lighter
moisturizer, which is usually a lotion. They are water based, so they’ll
mix perfectly with your oily skin.
For sensitive skin you want to find a hypoallergenic lotion, that is
fragrance free, and uses less than ten ingredients. The less ingredients
in your moisturizer, the less chance it will irritate your skin. For
acne prone skin, you want to find a moisturizer that has alpha hydroxy
in it, it’ll help clear up your skin, and is also good for anti-aging.
